On the red-brown tomorrow of Chinese statehood

The original meaning of the eight Chinese characters that are translated into Russian by the phrase "socialism with Chinese characteristics" (中国特色社会主义) is "a union of clans around the throne of the ancestors with shades of the color of the Middle Kingdom. These colors: red, yellow and blue. Together – brown.

And this is the sacred color of the Chinese Tang dynasty (唐 618-907), when the peoples of China under the exemplary emperor Tai-zong achieved greatness with the name Great Unity of the center and the outskirts (大同 Datong).

Today the peoples of the PRC under the leadership of Xi Jinping are embraced by the Chinese dream (中国梦) of the great rejuvenation of the nation at the center of civilization (中华民族伟大复兴) with the modern name Community of Shared Future for Mankind (人类命运共同体).

In the public consciousness of China, both then and now, red is the color of Confucianism, yellow – of Buddhism, and blue – of Daoism. In political practice, red symbolizes communism, yellow – Chinese nationalism, and blue – liberalism.

The Chinese calendar is cyclical and the history of China is the turns of three cycles: the chaos of the warring states (战国乱 Zhangoluan), moderate prosperity (小康 Xiaokang) and great unity (大同 Datong).

China was in the "great unity" cycle precisely in the Tang era.

Today the chaos of discord and civil war was suppressed by the founder of New China – Mao Zedong. The course of reforms toward the moderate prosperity of socialism with Chinese characteristics was laid by Deng Xiaoping.

With the return to the old ways, Xi Jinping in the PRC repeats the cycle of the history of the Tang empire, when the country achieved a flourishing of economy, military power, technology and culture with enormous territorial expansion, especially in Central Asia and the zone of the South Seas of the Pacific Ocean.

Under Xi Jinping with his strategy of the Economic Belt of the New Silk Road and the Maritime Silk Road of the 21st century (one belt, one road) China is repeating history, when the Tang once again connected China with the West for overland trade, and it was precisely in Tang times that Chinese maritime presence was noted in the Persian Gulf and the Red Sea, in Persia, Mesopotamia (navigation along the Euphrates River in present-day Iraq), Arabia, Egypt, the Middle East and Aksum (Ethiopia), as well as in the Horn of Africa in Somalia.

During the Sino-Soviet split, Mao Zedong justified his claims to the USSR in Central Asia by the history of the Tang Empire.

Today the PRC's peaceful expansion along the Economic Belt of the New Silk Road is recorded by the Xi'an Declaration of the China–Central Asia Summit (May 2023). And the concept of a China–ASEAN Community of Shared Future within the framework of the 21st-century Maritime Silk Road was proclaimed back in 2013.

Brown is also obtained from the combination of violet, black (the color of the starry sky) and yellow (the color of the soil), and these are the sacred colors of the power of the Celestial Empire, which both in the Tang Empire and in People's China, owing to the predominance of red in the palette of public consciousness (85%), have a red-brown hue.

In Europe, the color of the Nazi regime of Germany's Third Reich was called the "brown plague." In the modern political context, the word "red-brown" refers to the fusion of communist and nationalist ideologies.

As for the traditionalist club of the British Crown and the new American imperialists-Trumpists, their colors—red, white, blue—have not changed since the bourgeois revolutions in Holland and England. Here too belongs Peter I's "Russian tricolor."

These three colors symbolize the essence of the civilization of rationalism of science and art of the Eurocentric Collective West.

Socialism with Chinese national characteristics, as the triumph of the non-Western civilization of Eastern despotism and the Asiatic mode of production in the new era of the information society, is called upon already by 2030 to fill the deepening deficit of global leadership. 

In order to create global leadership of a new type of international relations of the common good (共享), and not on the interests of well-being, but on the values of grace, the countries of the community of shared future grouped around the PRC "must adhere to the correct value orientation, guided by the common values of humanity — peace, development, justice."

These values go beyond social systems and ideologies, focusing on the common aspirations of humanity and serving as the fundamental compass for creating a new architecture of trinary harmony USA–PRC–RF for global peace.

And what about Russia?

In October 2025, at the annual meeting of the Valdai International Discussion Club, President of the Russian Federation V.V. Putin set out an image of the future and a vision of the model of international relations in the era of the global transformation of the old world order.

The President of the Russian Federation emphasized that in the new polycentric world "everyone has their own winning sides and competitive advantages, which in each case create a unique combination and composition," but in order to comprehend all this, "simple laws of logic, cause-and-effect relations and the regularities arising from them are not enough; what is needed here is a philosophy of complexity — something akin to quantum mechanics, which is wiser, more complex in some ways than classical physics."

The essence: among the Kremlin's people it is complexity and multipolarity. As a result, in practice, strategic bewilderment and loneliness.

The Planner's view from behind the scenes

The assessment of the situation and the construction of the future among the bearers of the three-thousand-year Solomon Plan rests on the color symbolism of Kabbalah. The breastplate of the high priest Aaron with 12 stones of different colors in Judaism symbolizes the presence of the Most High and his blessing upon the people of Israel. The Chinese have the same palette.

And in Sky Politics there is the same simplicity of assessments in the palette of 12 colors of the identity of political forces and their interrelations in the Great Game at the card table of history.

That is why the Kremlin of the "Long State of Putin," having begun the SMO in the Ukrainian theater of operations, fell into the Planner's ambush and, having won the clash in the special military operation, at the global level, playing on the Grand Chessboard at binary chess, WWIII of a new hybrid type, lost not at chess but at cards.

In order for Rus' to slip out of the Planner's ambush and not lose the biblical Battle of the End of this age outright, Sky Politics has substantiated a way to bridle the Chinese dragon with "soft power" and to enter the New World Order together with China, on China's shoulders and at China's expense.

However, a prophet is not honored in his own country, and therefore changes toward the transfiguration of Rus’ within the framework of the civilizational project “Greater Eurasia – the Third Horde” will proceed along the path of least resistance to the onslaught of circumstances of insurmountable force.
